The Original Ladner Blackmouth Cur Association was created to promote continued improvement of the Ladner Blackmouth Cur, ,and to educate the public by sharing our knowledge of  these dogs with others.

L. H Ladner’s has had these dogs in his family for at least 6 generations.Mr. Ladner has not only bred these beautiful dogs for performance, but he also bred for an even temperment.

The dogs are primarily working dogs. They are very protective of their family and home,and they are great with children. We have had reports of some of these dogs herding a child away from dangerous situations,and some have saved the lives of their owners.

The OLBCA is an association, not a registry. We have a Dog of the Year program, certification programs,newsletters, and a yearbook. If you are planning on buying a pup and you would like to make sure that the dog is a full Ladner Blackmouth, you may email us with the pedigree information and we will do our best to find out this information for you.
